In our loan squad, the business days only contains the date info, with the time info ,so we use local zone date for these cases. For example the loan open date, and the first installment date, we only keep the date part info (yyyy-MM-dd) in our database, workflows, etc.
However, for other dates like loan creation date, loan update date, and overdraft grace period end date, we use UTC-based zoneddatetime.
