Role: User

Objective: want to include the withholding tax on interest rate on my monthly bank statement

Reason: so that I can see how much interest I earned, what was deducted in form of WHT tax and what is the net income.

Functional requirements:

• Bank Statements are generated on BE on the first day of each calendar month

• interest breakdown is included at the end of the list (interest earned = interest - WHT tax)

UI requirements:

The breakdown includes 3 rows

• net income (balance)

• credit interest application (credit)

• witholding tax collection (debit)

2. PDF is being generated

3. PDF is loaded and opened

Acceptance criteria:

• A bank statement should also include the following rows:

  • interest earned on the main account (credited on monthly basis)

  • withholding tax on interest 20%

  • calculated net income (interest earned minus WHT)
